Boscov’s North Department Store
in Reading, PA was
expanded from 80,000 square feet to 198,000 square feet. In addition to
the expansion, the entire store was completely renovated including
upgraded existing systems.

Consolidated
Engineers designed the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems for the
expanded store. The existing store had poor lighting and ventilation
creating a dreary and stuffy shopping environment. With the new systems
in place, the store is now bright and comfortable, creating a pleasant
shopping experience. |

The
new North store is now one of the largest stores in the chain. Boscov’s
has over 30 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New
York and Virginia. Since completing this project, Consolidated
Engineers has also provided engineering services for other Boscov’s
stores in Sunbury, PA, Vineland, NJ; Albany NY, Atlantic City, NJ;
Dover, DE; Easton, PA; Beaver Valley, PA; Frederick, MD; Nanuet, NY, New
Castle, DE, Monmouth, NJ, Tom’s River, NJ; Wyomissing, PA; Altoona, PA;
Westminster, MD; Moorestown, NJ; Danville, VA; Harrisburg, PA; and
Voorhees, NJ. |
