The Fleetwood Area High School
is a new
facility housing students from grades 9 to 12. The building
contains a 400 seat auditorium, a gymnasium and auxiliary
gymnasium, a library, cafeteria and classrooms to
accommodate 700 students.
|
|
Consolidated
Engineers designed the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems for the
facility. The HVAC system is a water-source heat pump system with heat
recovery. This energy efficient system pretreats outside air, controls
humidity and allows the school the flexibility of heating and cooling
different areas of the building simultaneously. The system installed at
Fleetwood is the largest school-installed water-source heat pump system
in Berks County and possibly the state. |
