The Gwynedd House is the newly completed, award-winning skilled care nursing facility constructed for Foulkeways at Gwynedd.  This facility contains 40 resident rooms and provides a full range of nursing and rehabilitation services and includes such features as living rooms, dining rooms and country kitchens.

Consolidated Engineers designed the HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for the facility.  The HVAC system is a 4-pipe fan coil system with a central water-cooled rotary chiller providing chilled water and two (2) flexible tube water boilers providing hot water.  Domestic water is generated by a high-efficiency natural gas-fired domestic hot water boiler or it can be generated from the heating hot water boiler output through a semi-instantaneous water-to-water heat exchanger.  The automatic temperature control system is a DDC system interfaced with central computer station for global control and monitoring capability.
