Special Features:
New central mechanical and electrical rooms housing primary heating boilers, cooling tower for heat pump loop, primary heating and heat pump loop pumps, domestic cold water storage and treatment equipment, domestic hot water system, and primary equipment and distribution equipment
 
 

Frederick Mennonite Community expanded its facilities with the construction of a three-story, one-bedroom assisted living apartment building with 48 apartments; a one-story with basement, 24 room building for Alzheimer’s and memory impaired residents, and a new central mechanical and electrical equipment building.

 

Consolidated Engineers designed the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the building.  These systems included horizontal, ducted water-source heat pumps; indoor air handling units with air-cooled condensers for pre-treatment of outside air in the assisted living building; new central mechanical and electrical rooms, packaged rooftop air conditioning units.
