The Great Valley Middle School
is a new
facility housing students from grades 6 through 8. The
building contains an all-purpose room that can be used as a
gymnasium or auditorium, a cafeteria, library, and
classrooms to accommodate 1050 students.
|
|
Consolidated
Engineers designed the HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical
systems for the facility. The HVAC system is a water source heat pump
with energy recovery units providing the required outdoor air
ventilation. The energy recovery units pre-treat the outdoor air which
results in energy savings and better indoor humidity levels. |
