The Bank of Lancaster County
Corporate
Headquarters houses three floors of executive offices for this regional
bank.
|

Consolidated Engineers provided the design of the HVAC, plumbing, and
electrical systems for the project. Since there was no room in the
building, all mechanical systems needed to be located on the roof. The
system was specially designed to eliminate as much noise as possible
since it was located right above the bank executives’ offices on the top
floor. This was achieved by locating the units over non-critical areas,
running ductwork lined with special sound absorbent material
horizontally on the roof and installing sound absorbent material in the
curb between the roof and the bottom of the units. In addition,
vibration isolation equipment was installed to eliminate any vibration
transfer to the structure. |
